My wife Susan and I had the recent pleasure of working with Amy DePreta & Patricia Elder. I don't use the term "pleasure" lightly.  Susan and I were trying to sell our house during the end of last year, an incredibly stressful situation in light of the housing environment.  Because of Amy & Patty's preparation and knowledge of the market place, we sold our
house the first day we put it on the market.  

Let me take one step back.  Susan and I first put our home on the market in the spring of 2007.  At that time, we were using a different realtor, one who had a terrific reputation.  After months of frustration where we just couldn't find the right buyer for our home, we decided to pull our house off the market and wait until the Fall.  It was at this point that
Susan and I decided to interview a couple of different realtors.  Our objective was to understand how they would propose positioning our house that would allow us the best opportunity to sell.

After interviewing a number of excellent candidates, Susan and I determined that Amy & Patty were the best fit for us.  They proved our decision correct immediately.  Instantly, they went on the offensive, putting together a fantastic marketing campaign.  Of great importance to us, they were incredibly responsive to our concerns & questions, always responding "same day" to our calls/emails.  They proposed that we make a
couple of subtle changes to our home that made a tremendous difference to the appearance of the home without costing us a tremendous amount of money.  As a working couple with (2) small children, Amy and Patty
understood our needs and took the pressure off of us by taking full ownership of our home as if they were trying to sell their own.  Their
efforts paid off for us in spades.  As mentioned, we sold our home on the first day we put it back on the market.  The ultimate bonus: we received full asking price!

Susan and I are tremendous supporters of Amy & Patty's.  Buying and selling a home is always a stressful situation.  Particularly given the economic outlook and the stress on the housing market, having the right
